Thought i'd give these designs a fresher colour palette.

Summer Birds Collection

Concept board for the little birds ideas i've been working on. I think there are still a few things i'd like to tweak but hopefully the collection is coming together.

A trio of Birds

Been working on a friend for the first little bird and came up with this chap who was also developed from an initial pencil sketch. Will be working on a definitive colour scheme for both birds and also introducing the leaf elements from this design into the first repeat pattern. Probably should go to bed now, so that's the plan for tomorrow, nite nite :)

John Lewis Mr Fox Cushion

I was wandering around in John Lewis this afternoon and saw this brilliant new cushion, I think it's lovely, really great illustration of Mr Fox. Think one of peach and taupe ones might be found in my flat very soon!

A flock of Birds

More development of this weeks little bird project.

I definitely think that by making the motif simpler it's made for a stronger overall design, also found that with a few tweaks the motif works quite well in repeat. I think we'll be seeing more of this little chap and his friends in the future.

Feel quite silly for being so stressed about this on Monday, patience is the key and i'll have to remember that in future :)
